--Fin Fish-- Fin is obviously my favorite character on my favorite anime, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, I mean, look!-I have her in just about every layout. ^.^ Although she looks very similar to a fairy, she is acually an angel. That right! And angel from god...well, sort of. Here, let me start off at the beginning: When you first see Fin, she is Marron's trusty helper who goes out in search of poor innocent people with evil demons trapped within their bodies, Fin then sends the cards to the cards the evil people. See, Marron cannot transform into Jeanne without the help of Fin, Fin's jewel on her forehead gives Marron power to transform. In this case, Fin is a very important person(someone you wouldn't want to lose!). Fin is one of Marron's best friends! Some one she can really open up to. They love each other like sisters, even though Marron is about ten times the size of fin! ^.^ As happy as they are, something very unexpected happens; Access tells Chiaki and Marron that Fin has been working for the devil! Heres the story: Fin lived in heaven with her best friends, Toki(a boy angel), Celia(girl angel), and Access(well sort of, he is their friend but makes them mad a lot and is kind of an outsider.). They were in just about all the same classes and is why they became friends. They all had the same dream, to become a true angel. Access is totally in love with Fin, like he always has. But, Toki flirts with Fin too, and you can definetly tell he has a thing for her as well. One day, Fin, Toki and Celia are granted to go to earth for a day, although no one will be able to see them except people with 'true hearts'(special people really, people that totally believe in god and have excepted him with all their will. Such as Jeanne D' Arc.). While their are all on earth, Celia gets separated from them. Fin and Toki find her in a Temple with a strange man, they think that he has kidnapped her but later they discover he found her passed out and has been taking care of her. The man seemed very nice, and his name was Sagami. Fin was confused though, because every time she got near him, she heard a stange cracking noice, like ice. But, Fin was the only one hearing it. Sagami seemed to have a lot of holy water which was suprising to them all, because holy water was found hard to get. Later, Fin was looking for Sagami, he told her to meet him in the certain spot where she was, she stood there waiting. Suddenly all these rocks started falling down, bruising Fin. The rocks fell and revealed a girl trapped in a block of ice. "Natsuki? How did she get here?" Suddenly the ice melts and starts turning into holy water. Suddenly Sagami says, "You see, Natsuki gave her life to god to create holy water. And you will too..." Fin screams back, "No! Natsuki didn't give herself to god, she was murdered, by you!" Sagami is stunned, "How did you know that?" he asked. Fin announced that she is Natsuki and that Sagami is her older brother. Sagami doesn't care and says that she will give her life to God for himself. Sagami tells her that Toki and Celia were murdered by him for holy water as well. You see, Sagami wanted holy water because it cured people, phycially or mentally. This could make him a lot of money, which is why he is doing this. (Sorry, small note here: An Angel's power is stored in his or her hair. So if you had a piece of it, you would gain power.) Fin realizes that the cracking sound was a warning about Sagami and to stay away. Back in Heaven; Access see's head angels looking to a mirror that reflects whats going on on earth. In it he see's Sagami about to cut Fin's hair. Sagami knows that Fin's hair is special because most Angel's have hair that is silver because the more power the Angel has, the lighter their hair gets.(Silver being the lightest.) Fin's hair is special because even though its green, it is more powerful then Silver hair! This is because when she was on earth as a human, she had a pure heart already. Fin's hair is cut. Suddenly her power goes out of control and it explodes killing, Sagami and possibly others. For this, she is going to be punished by being banished to this place where once you step in, you become 'nothing', at all. Access is uncontrollably upset. Fin is about to step inside this place when one angel says, "wait, there is a place for you here." That is when Fin was banished to work for the Devil. As much as Fin loved god, she wanted to live. Making an acually good choice in so many ways. The Devil had this plan, that if he awakened Jeanne, then used Fin to become her friend, and then hurt her by turning on her, then the devil would kill Jeanne, and gain power. This is because god lives off the pure hearts of people like Jeanne. If their hearts are hurt, their power is lost, in which, god loses power. See, although Fin says she hates Marron and wants to kill her because of her place as a banished angel, she has to do what Satan says, she really loves Marron and deep inside, wants to help her. Later, after Marron hears how Fin 'hates' her. Marron decides she is not going to give up on Fin, and with the help of Celia and Toki brings her back to her true self again! ^.^ In the end, suddenly there is a big earth quake, and everyone goes to heaven. There, Marron meets god and god says she has to end the war between him and the devil. The devil shows up and says she has to fight a fake Jeanne. Marron wins! The devil is furious and blasts some kind of power ball thingy at her, Fin then, jumps in front of Marron! Fin then dies! But!- God says that her, chiaki, fin and everyone will be reborn if she gives up her powers. She says yes and everyone is reborn, except Fin!...Marron and Chiaki get married and have a baby...and the baby is the reancarnation of Fin!(Okay, so she was. But just not right away.) Note: Don't you just luv that story? Thats not quite all of it of corse, thats only part of it, you still have to read about the rest of the characters. But it is a very important and unique part of the wonderful story of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne! |
